Permethrin belongs to a class of drugs called pyrethrins and is used to treat scabies caused by tiny insects called mites that infect and irritate the skin. It is very highly infectious for the whole family so all should take treatment at the same time.
Carescab works by paralysing and killing the mites and their eggs.
